A lot of folks are talking about You-Know-Who's declaration that there would be a "bloodbath" if he doesn't win the presidency back. In fairness to Mr. Trump — and I'm not sure why we should be fair to him when he's not fair to anyone else — the statement is less inflammatory if you look at it in full context. He was talking more about a business "bloodbath" in the auto industry if he's not reinstalled to save it. That's my main problem with the guy: He really only says three things…
- No one has ever been treated as unfairly as I'm being treated.
- Anyone who opposes me in any way is an idiot and a loser and a liar.
- Anything you care about is being destroyed and only I can save it.
The "bloodbath" line is in the third category and so is his insistence.
