Today's Political Comment

During the period when Joe Biden was having bad moments in front of news cameras, a Trump-loving acquaintance of mine wrote to me and said, "I love getting up every morning to see one more incident that proves Biden is not fit to be president." I haven't heard from the guy as Trump continually proves he's more unfit for office than Biden ever was. And Biden became unfit in a sad, non-hostile way, whereas Trump's unfitness seems malicious and maniacal.

Recently, I bought one of these and put a new iPad in it and placed the whole thing next to my bed. Now, I can surf the web while horizontal and under the covers, checking on this site and the world before I go to sleep each night or once I wake up in the morning. It always shows me the latest nutcase/dishonest thing Trump has done, usually courtesy of The Meidas Touch Network. (And I see on there now, the announcement that the judge in the case against James Comey has just thrown the whole thing outta court due to incompetence and law-breaking by the Trump Administration.)

I keep thinking of a joke Jackie Mason told back in the Watergate days. He said that with Nixon in office, "Every morning, I get up and run out into my living room to see if my furniture is still there!" You never know what Trump and his mob will do next. You only know it won't be good — for us, for the country and not even for them.
