A friend of mine and I tried to watch a little of the Rose Parade yesterday morning and that's what we saw — a little of the Rose Parade. We caught glimpses of it here and there between commercials piled on top of commercials. But she finally said, "Just turn it off" after fifteen or twenty minutes because it was frustrating. A helluva lotta work goes into making each float and arranging for each marching band and then we get to see it for ten seconds…or less…or not at all.
