CBS News does the same. So does NBC News. So does ABC News.
So does CNN. So does The Associated Press.
So does Politifact. So does FactCheck.org. So do a lot of other sources but that's enough for now.
You will notice most of them making a lot of the same points. To a Trumper, that's probably a conspiracy. To a rational person, it's corroboration.
