As I mentioned, I've been trying different software programs that are supposed to be good for writing comic book scripts. I had one — actually, a set of templates and macros for Microsoft Word — that my friend Steve Gerber and I designed. It was good its day but it needs updating because Word has been updated so much. Having not been thrilled with any of the software that readers of this site recommended, I've decided to try patching and updating the thing Steve and I devised.
My problem: There is much about Microsoft Word that I don't know and haven't been able to learn. So I'm wondering if there's someone out there who does know who could spare a little time for a phone call or two from me. We're talking here about Word — now, a part of Office 360 — for the P.C. and I need someone who knows more about macros and templates than I do. If you are such a person and are willing to help, drop me a line.
Oh — and while I have your attention: I said here the other day that Brad Oscar — a talented Broadway star I met years ago — was now The Wizard in the current N.Y. production of Wicked. Well, as several of you have informed me, he was…but now he's gone on to another exalted position in public service. He's now the Mayor of Schmigadoon!
