Half a dozen of you had the idea to check on the current state of the World News Newsstand by using an online map/photo program while others just wrote me to say that for some time now, it's been closed tighter than…well, you can make up your own silly analogy. Given how disinterested the world is these days about things printed on paper, I'm not surprised. But gee, it was a helluva place before we had ourselves an Internet.
