Rob Salkowitz reports on the financial/business end of Comic-Con International. He says it's in better monetary shape than it's been in a long time but, of course, there are problems with, among other matters, hotel accommodations and the limitations of the San Diego Convention Center.
The article raises the much-discussed question of whether the convention will ever move out of San Diego. I stand by my prediction it won't, at least not in my lifetime. I can't believe the city of San Diego would ever be stupid enough to allow that to happen.
