Here's another installment — a pretty long one — of Everything You Need to Know About Saturday Night Live. This one covers Season 28, a season when I don't think I watched the show once. I guess I was waiting for someone to say, "Hey, you oughta watch the show" — or even "watch this sketch" — and nobody did.
Maybe that was a failing of my circle of friends but as I watch the excerpts in this recap, I think maybe not. One person in that circle who did watch described these years as a lot of talented people trying real hard to launch a character who could spin off into a movie.
