It's a good thing that Donald Trump, for the eighth or ninth time, has completely obliterated the Iran military, won the war and brought peace to that region. I hate to think what would be going on there now if he hadn't.
I will also note that when the water in my swimming pool turned green, I didn't blame vandals and order authorities to arrest someone — anyone! — for causing it. Instead, I had my pool guy come over, he poured a couple of gallon jugs of something in and in two days, the water was crystal clear and no paint had come off the bottom surface. Trump should have called my pool guy.
So my panel schedule for Comic-Con is set and, as usual, I'm doing a Cartoon Voices Panel on Saturday, preceded by Quick Draw! and there's a Cartoon Voices Panel on Sunday. The Cartoon Voices Panel on Saturday will feature Eric Bauza, Shelby Young, Michael Scott Action, Jon Allen, Stephanie Southerland, Sean Giambrone and (probably) a surprise guest. The Sunday Cartoon Voices Panel shall consist of Fred Tatasciore, Kaitlyn Robrock, Roxana Ortega, Kimoy Lee, Rob Paulsen, Maurice LaMarche and (maybe) a surprise guest. I'm delighted with these lineups.
Years ago, I saw Jack Klugman and Tony Randall do The Odd Couple — the play version by Mr. Simon — at the old Shubert Theater in Century City. I mentioned recently on a web forum that I thought they were sleepwalking through it and not very good. A gentleman is arguing hysterically against me, saying that he saw that production and they were wonderful. For some reason, he is not open to the possibility that I saw them on a bad night and he saw them on a good night. That's what can happen with live theater.
Lastly: I asked here recently for a volunteer to help me with a Microsoft Word problem I was having. Many of you stepped forward. I went with one guy and he was very helpful and I shall thank him properly soon here. In the meantime, I'd like to thank all the other volunteers. There are a lot of good people on in this world and I like to think most of those who read this blog are in that grouping.
