Tonight on TCM, they're saluting Chuck Jones, the director of many a great animated cartoon. That's not a photo of Chuck above. That's my pal Jerry Beck and he's co-hosting tonight's salute which includes a number of great short cartoons Mr. Jones directed along with features Gay Purr-ee and The Phantom Tollbooth. It all kicks off at 8 PM (at least on my TV) with the documentary, Chuck Amuck.
While I have your attention: That's a drawing Chuck did for me in 1973. If you ever see anyone selling it, let me know because the guy who stole all that artwork from me earlier this year took it.
