It's kinda fun to wake up each morning and see which judge — including many that Trump appointed — is ruling against Trump today. The man seems to think that laws don't apply when he has something he wants to do and that he should be allowed to do it, whatever it is, just because he thinks it'll be good for someone, especially him. He ain't losing them all but he's losing most of 'em.
I have me an e-mailbox loaded with missives from brave defenders of Little Orphan Annie's honor. Hey, if you like the strip, fine. I guarantee you there are things you like that I don't, especially if you like cole slaw. I'll have more to say about America's favorite orphan one of these days.
The Carnegie Deli in New York has reopened in its new location and all the media I've seen about it makes me not want to eat there. Their pastrami or corned beef sandwiches now all look like each contains all the meat they can slice off one steer and you have to unhinge your jaw to even get that first bite. I've lost close to a hundred pounds since I last dined in a New York deli and I don't want to put it all back on with one sandwich…or carry around fifty pounds of meat all day as leftovers after lunch. I think that's one of the things that has closed a lot of delicatessens. Their insistence on serving cole slaw is, of course, another.
